略歴
1994年東京大学医学部医学科卒業。東京大学医学部附属病院耳鼻咽喉科、亀田総合病院耳鼻咽喉科で研修。
2001年東京大学大学院医学系研究科(耳鼻咽喉科学)修了。2001年より東京大学医学部附属病院耳鼻咽喉科助手。 2004年~2005年米国カリフォルニア大学サンディエゴ校耳鼻咽喉科博士研究員。
2006年4月より医局長。2008年5月より講師。2016年6月より准教授。2023年11月より現職。
専門
鼻科学、嗅覚医学、顔面神経疾患を専門とする。手術は内視鏡下鼻副鼻腔手術のほか耳、鼻、咽頭および頚部の疾患を担当している。 また加齢による嗅覚障害の病態生理の解明と治療法の開発、内耳神経の発生、再生機構の研究など、 基礎医学の成果を感覚器の臨床医学に応用すべく研究を行っている。
